TRAINING
Although my original training was classical in nature, the most significant influences to my professional methodology were Gestalt and Transactional Analysis, a framework both for feeling and thinking. They became the foundation for my self-designed, clinically-oriented Doctoral Program during which I engaged in in-depth training with my primary mentors, Mary and Bob Goulding, as well as several of the original people in their respective areas of expertise, including: Fritz Perls, Eric Berne, Virginia Satir, Jim Simkin, Joan Fagon and Irma Lee Shepard.
I further enhanced my perception of the natural marriage of mind, body, and spirit through my experiences with, and study of Eastern philosophies utilizing spirituality, healing, meditation and hands-on body-work. It was the combination of these disciplines that has informed and crafted my work as a holistic therapist. At this point, after 40 years of private practice, my work manifests a full spectrum.
