 As a licensed psychotherapist and creator of Natural Process Psychotherapy based in the San Francisco Bay Area, I have 40 years experience in Counseling, Coaching and Consulting. My practice extends to personal and business clients; in-office, on-site and by phone.
Whether in the private sector or the business world, people are my focus and relationships are my frame-of-reference. I see nourishment as a product of relationships . . . with oneself, others, tasks, substances, ideologies, ways of life and more. My objective is to optimize the quality of emotional, intellectual and spiritual nourishment derived from all relationships.
I approach Personal Counseling (or Psychotherapy) as a natural occurrence existing within contemporary life. Sometimes circumstances can become overwhelming when the old tools are not up to the task, or there are no
tools at all.
The inclination to seek counsel can spring from a variety of feelings, thoughts and conditions: stress, anxiety, depression, anger, grief; addictions; transitions, impasses, relationship concerns; wanting more from life; and the joys and sorrows of simply being human. Whether short-term or longer, ongoing or intermittent, my clients learn to better counsel themselves using my presence, energy, intuition and expertise to supplement their own efforts through:

- Weekend Group Sessions

Life Coaching is a truly holistic process of evolvement, which has been a part of my counseling practice from the beginning. I work with individuals to facilitate their goals and wishes addressing impasses along the way. Recovery Coaching is a specialized version of Life Coaching, utilizing my in-depth psychotherapy experience gleaned from working with addiction, grieving and Post-Traumatic Stress.
My Business-Related Services were launched in 1972 through my association with Synectics, Inc., a
Cambridge-based corporate consulting group. Currently, I provide consulting services in partnership with the VisionWorksGroup, LLP, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. Whether working with companies in Corporate Development, or conducting unique Consumer Research and Discovery Sessions, I am stimulated by the challenges of businesses and those who lead them.
